There will be more content about what's going on in D.C. later on today. Here in Connecticut, State Rep. Patricia Dillion (D-New Haven) was arrested for driving drunk, and has issued an apology. Dillon defeated her Republican opponent by a margin of 90%-10% in November. Also, business leaders are pushing for more pro-business legislation, which is no surprise.
CT News Junkie has a report on the arrest of reporter and Thornton campaign manager Ken Krayeske for, apparently, taking pictures of the inaugural parade. This is very, very ugly, and I would hope the charges would be dropped.
What else is happening?

This was initiated by the State COPs - a bunch of criminals them selves!!!
That's frightening about Ken's arrest.
I am sure that is not the whole story... Thornton was at the Inaugural Ball, I saw him, was he arrested? no... ridiculous claim by Ken. He should be ashamed. Since when did ctnewswhatever.com become a reliable news source? Weak attempt to create bad publicity for the Gov. Lame.
Dillon did a great job of getting out in front of the DUI charge. Good crisis communications advice.
According to the police report, plainclothes Hartford Police Officers recognized Krayeske from a photo they were given by the Connecticut Intelligence Center and the State Police Central Intelligence Unit that “briefed us on possible threats to Gov. Rell by a political activist.”
Who knew that CT has its own COINTELPRO? (By the way, the CT Intelligence Center is a joint project of the FBI.) I wonder if Grandma or the overseers will investigate these goons? Not.
Colin McEnroe interviewed Krayeske's attorney Norm Pattis (mp3) about the case. He confirms Krayeske was trying to take a picture.
this just in.. Rell has become Amish as of Wednesday.
What a flippin' loser that Jodi is. What a fiasco.
2007 will be Shelton's year in the news.
